Pastor Arslan Ul Haq

Pastor Arslan Ul Haq is the founding pastor of the Reformed Church of Pakistan. He was born on July 29, 1992, in Bahawalpur, a city in the southern region of Punjab, Pakistan. He is the middle son of Christian minister Rev. Younas Masih Gill.

He received his early education at St. Mary’s Middle School, a Roman Catholic institution in Bahawalpur, where he was first introduced to the German reformer Martin Luther, though from a Roman Catholic perspective. Reading The Pilgrim’s Progress and the story of Mary Jones and Her Bible stirred in him a deep love for the Holy Scriptures. At the age of 11, he began studying through Bible correspondence courses offered by the Pakistan Bible Correspondence School, Faisalabad, and continued until completing them in 2008. After completing twelve years of intermediate and secondary education under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur, he felt called to pastoral ministry. In 2011, he began his pastoral work in both the urban and rural areas of Bahawalpur.

He earned his Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) in Biblical Studies from Northwestern Theological Seminary, Florida, USA, in 2014. He also holds certificates in Technology and the ChurchIntro to Biblical Counseling, and The Story of Scripture from the Global Institute of Dallas Theological Seminary, Texas, USA, earned in April 2025. He studied Working as a Freelance Translator through Alison and Translation in Practice from Nanjing University, China, via Coursera, both of which enhanced his translation skills, although he did not obtain formal certification. He is currently pursuing a Master of Theology in Christian Philosophy from Open Christian University, California, USA, and is expected to graduate in August 2025.

In cooperation with WBM, his ministry includes preaching, teaching, translating, editing, and writing. He currently serves as the Moderator of the Reformed Church of Pakistan and the President of Sutlej Reformed Theological Seminary.
